This website was fairly typical of what "free" Do It Yourself web firms offer.  Fonts are inconsistent sizes and styles, images are pixilated so appear blurry to the viewer, content is limited.  The site owner is given almost no instruction in how to create an effective, functional, and attractive site.  Nor given any instruction as to the importance of keywords, links, optimization, submission, etc.  Invariably when the site owner finds these items need to be added the cost escalates dramatically. 

The most negative aspect of this kind of site you can't see in this screen shot. A majority of keywords on all the site's pages are highlighted with various colors, are clickable and are linked to the advertising of other web sites.  The linked websites are paying a fee to the host site and are a detriment of this site.  In addition the "freebie" design sites frequently feature advertising on both sides, top, and bottom of the "free" site and litter it with hated pop up advertisements.   Thus your "free" site is being used to advertise the host company's paying clients.  Is this the kind of first impression you want for your company?

 

                

The client did not like color or mood of the original site.  Bobcat rebuilt the site into a more colorful and fun site to reflect this young woman's unique, utterly charming personality and her fun loving attitude. 

Within a few months it was decided that Alina wanted to pursue a professional career. So she wanted a more dramatic and mature looking site.  Bobcat created the site on the lower middle for the young singer. 

The first day the newest site was up it was referred to a famous Nashville song writer by another Bobcat Open Systems, Inc. client who was impressed with the site and with Alina's amazing voice.  On looking at the site and listening to Alina the song writer was so overwhelmed that he immediately contacted the young woman and told her he wanted to write songs just for her.  Alina has now moved to Nashville and has launched her professional career.  Watch for her star to rise in the near future!
